Just in time for the holidays, we're thrilled to introduce you to Spinelli Kilcollin scent no. 1, Avarice. The candle has arrived, and with it the opportunity to experience a new level of SK luxury.

Do you like surprises? DO NOT MISS our words at the end of this note.

The primary notes of Avarice are mineral—which references the core of the earth and the metallic elements of our jewelry, and fig—a nod to the most ancient of all fruits, to cultivation, and to myth. Avarice represents the connectedness of living and mineral phenomena; it links elements of the sky with elements of the earth.

The included scents in Avarice—fig leaf, amber, cedar, pale musk, powdery sandalwood, orchid, jasmine, bois de rose, coconut and orange peel—are the products of two aldehydes: scent molecules identical to those found in the natural sources of the scent notes that they evoke.

The holiday season is a time of lightness and warmth—and while Avarice makes for an almost overly-covetable gift, it's also ideal for welcoming illumination and exquisite sensory experience into your own space.

Questions? We have answers!

For how long can I burn my Avarice candle, you may ask?

Avarice candles will burn for about fifty hours.

What on earth are the candles made of?

Avarice is made of 100% hand-poured soy wax.

SK jewelry is all made by hand in Los Angeles, is Avarice, too?

Avarice candles are made in New York City.

This all sounds good, but I'd like to smell it before I commit to this relationship.

How's a votive sound? Now through the end of 2017, we'll send a votive—as a gift—to accompany any purchase that you make online.

How many of these candles exist!? I like to have rare treasures.

Just five hundred.

Ok, ok! I want one. When can I get it?

Soon! And you can pre-order it right now, here. We will ship the first Avarice candles on November 30!

Anything else I should know?

Yes, in fact. We placed Spinelli Kilcollin rings (yes, the real things) inside of the wax of five Avarice candles, at random. For you to find, and most importantly, for you to keep!
